The Punjab College of Commerce Rawalpindi campus was founded in 1988 by the Islamic Commerce Educational Society (ICES). The campus is in Satellite town. Mian Aamer Mehmood is the chairman of Punjab College of Commerce. Punjab College is producing thousands of professionals in Commerce, Business and IT. The main focus of the college in on maintaining discipline along with imparting quality education keeping in view the demands of the job market. Highly qualified and professional faculty polish students in such a way that they have crystal clear concepts of what they learn and apply their knowledge easily in their professional lives.
The aim of college is to create a community that is professional and sound, and the courses are designed to give students the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in today’s competitive environment. The academic staff of the college pays special and close attention to each student. The college is well known for its high quality education and it has proved itself by producing excellent results. The result of BISE Rawalpindi 2012 shows the excellent performance of Punjab College Rawalpindi in which the college got 18 positions in board. Female students excelled in all disciplines i.e. Medical, Engineering, Computer Science. In BISE Rawalpindi Results of 2012, female students got 12 positions which is unparalleled in the history of Rawalpindi Board.
Punjab College has modern buildings, spacious lawns, central locations, air-conditioned classrooms, latest labs and well-stocked libraries. Library offers the latest local and foreign books on business, economics, computer and commerce. Updated periodicals and journals on different subjects are available, as are books on literature and languages. A new motorcycle is awarded to the student who secure first position in the board examinations. For the last fifteen consecutive years, PCC has won Punjab University General Trophy in Sports. There is separate campus for girls.
