How To Apply
Prospectus and admission forms are available from University campus at the time of admission. Completely filled forms can be submitted at the same place by the due date.
Psychology offers BS-4 years Program in Clinical Psychology which extends over eight semesters. An in-depth teaching and supervised training is provided to the students. The students are trained in assessment, diagnosis and psychological management of different psychological problems. Students are also required to undertake research project. A graduate is not entitled to practice Clinical Psychology without having further qualification i.e., ADCP or MS in Clinical psychology.
Degree requirements for this program are:
- The candidates who have passed FA / F.Sc / equivalent examination and are not older than 24 years are eligible to apply. Basic admission criteria are in line with the one laid down by University of the Punjab. Those who have done F.Sc. or have studied Psychology as a subject at intermediate level will be awarded 5 additional marks.
Studying a psychology degree fosters a valuable aptitude for work in both the science and arts fields. Jobs appropriate for a psychologist include those of Clinical psychologist, Educational psychologist, Further education lecturer, Higher education lecturer, Occupational psychologist, Sport and exercise psychologist, Careers adviser, Counsellor, Human resources officer, Psychotherapist, and Retail manager.
