Journalism is an exciting occupation that allows you to meet many different kinds of people and to travel. The basis of journalism is information - discovering, collecting, assembling, analysing and presenting information. To do this effectively, journalists require highly developed skills in language, a good understanding of the media, an interest in current affairs and a broad general knowledge. By also studying the BA, students graduate with highly developed skills in written communication, problem-solving, critical thinking and interpersonal understanding.
Degree requirements for this program are:
- Intermediate (minimum 50% marks, including first year, no supplementary) or A-Level (minimum 3 passes) or equivalent from a recognized institution. An entrance test and group discussion / interview will be given to all applicants at SZABIST
Students enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in film and cinema create and critique films and prepare for careers in the film and cinema industry. They study various styles and time periods of motion pictures while learning about the different aspects of creating films, such as production, cinematography, writing and directing. Many private and public colleges, universities and institutes offer film and cinema bachelor's degree programs. Most degrees are offered in the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts formats, but some schools offer Bachelor of Science degrees.
