The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is an undergraduate academic degree designed to satisfy the academic component of professional accreditation bodies, to be followed by a period of practical training prior to professional examination and registration. It is awarded for a course of study that lasts up to five years. In some cases, a B.Arch can be undertaken after having completed a three-year generalized architectural degree plus an additional two years. Many architecture schools using this bi-partite structure have re-badged their B.Arch programs as M.Arch degrees. An A Level in drama is also essential as it shows you have creativity within you and your productive with your ideas.
Degree requirement for this program are:
- Eligibility: Minimum 2nd. Division in FSc./A-Level or 12 Years Equivalent Education Admission Test
Most architects do not actually carry out the construction of the buildings they design. That is usually done by construction contractors. However, some architects do construction in a design-build company. Others may normally build smaller projects such as houses. Architects also may develop projects on their own, alone or in conjunction with financial advisors, real-estate developers or others.
Architects can do more than design buildings. Some serve as consultants on a broad range of clients' needs such as long-term business planning, relocation planning, interior design, human resources and space-use planning, facility maintenance programming and hundreds of other services
