Food and Nutrition is an interdisciplinary degree that allows a student to pursue graduate studies in areas such as food microbiology, meat science and food chemistry, human nutrition and metabolism, food product development, and community nutrition. The curriculum focuses on developing professional skills and entrepreneurship.
Degree requirements for this program are:
- The applicant applying for admission to BA/BSc (Hons) 4-years program must have passed his/her HSSC in First Annual Examination of the year of admission or in the preceding year of admission, with at least 50% marks.
A degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics develops students for a career in the food industry, chain restaurants, five star hotels, catering institutions and research organizations.
