The Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) program will help in developing a broad base of knowledge in Economcis and Finance and harness the power behind proven management strategies and adapt them to the boardroom. The degree aims to develop leadership potential of the students and equips them with the knowledge and skills required to lead in both Pakistan and the world.

The Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) program prepares students in the functional areas of business allowing them to develop managerial skills necessary to be effective in a rapidly changing business environment.

Degree requirements for this program are:

  • A Higher Secondary School (HSC) Certificate with at least 50% marks awarded by a recognized Provincial Intermediate Board, A Levels with a minimum of two Cs, preferably in business related subjects, excluding General Paper and Urdu or an American High School Diploma with CGPA 2.5 or equivalent, recognized Overseas Equivalence Diploma, or any other qualification if an authority has issued an equivalence certificate.

The field of finance has its roots in the discipline of economics.  The umbrella program draws on the strengths of the Economics and business Departments here at IoBM, and provides a solid foundation in Economics and Finance.

This program will provide students with the conceptual tools to understand a number of issues from modern finance theory and applications.  The program will provide students with a solid understanding of the operation of capital markets and capital market instruments, including equities, fixed income securities, as well futures markets, options and other derivatives.  The program will provide students with an in-depth understanding of topics in modern finance and financial economics as it relates to the capital structure of firms and how these financial instruments affect the overall operation of modern financial systems.
