The BS (Hons) in Applied Zoology (Fisheries/Wildlife) offers extensive coursework in the major areas of fisheries science and aquaculture. The Fisheries and Aquaculture program offers students a hands-on experience raising local fish and shrimp species, and enriches them with diverse fisheries management field experiences.
Degree requirements for this program are:
- FSc (Pre-Medical/Pre-Engineering) from any Educational Board, or equivalent, with at least 60% marks and not over 23 years of age at the time of admission. (If an applicant is Hafiz-e-Quran, 20 marks will be added to their marks in FSc examination, however, the counting of 20 marks towards merit will depend upon the test conducted by the University.)
The graduates after completing their degree programs have opportunities to enter in a diversifies areas of fisheries & aquaculture field like fish farm and hatchery managers, academia, researchers, entrepreneurs, stakeholders, etc.
