Textile Design component introduces students to the tradition through textile printing and weaving. Techniques, such as spinning, netting, weaving, knitting, embroidery, felt making, image transfer, hand painting and hand printing on fabrics, photo and computer generated imaging, dyeing technology, and computer-aided designing and manufacturing are taught in this component. A strong skill-based curriculum is intended to build dexterity, sensitivity to materials, and technical competence in this multifaceted discipline.
Degree requirement for this program is:
- Intermediate with minimum second division or A level.
- All the applicants will have to take Entry Test and Interview
Fashion Design component provides extensive preparation for individuals seeking placement in the design and production components of the fashion industry. In this component individuals develop, and construct apparel and related products, while learning about design, product development, apparel construction, fashion sketching, textiles, computer technologies, pattern making, and draping. Summer internship is an important component of this program in which students are required to participate. The internship provides students with industry experience in textiles and fashion-related fields
